The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Mount Allison invites applications for a part-time stipendiary appointment for the Winter 2027 term, to teach a BIOC-1001 Introductory Biochemistry (/academic_calendar/26-27/Biochemistry.html), preferably in-person but offerings in an online format may be considered.  The successful candidate should have a completed (or in-progress) PhD in Biochemistry or related field. Doctoral students are welcome to apply, and prior teaching experience is preferred.

The anticipated enrollment in the course is approximately 60 students and involves 3 hours of class time per week plus scheduled office hours to assist students.
