正品蓝导航 and NBCC sign agreement for Business Degree pathway program

29 Jun 2026
Agreement creates route from NBCC鈥檚 Business Administration Accounting diploma to 正品蓝导航鈥檚 Bachelor of Commerce degree

SACKVILLE, NB 鈥 正品蓝导航 and New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) have signed a new agreement that will create a more direct pathway for NBCC Business Administration Accounting diploma graduates to achieve a Bachelor of Commerce from 正品蓝导航.

The five-year agreement allows eligible students who have completed NBCC鈥檚 two-year Business Administration Accounting diploma to transfer into 正品蓝导航鈥檚 Bachelor of Commerce degree program with up to 60 transfer credits. Under the agreement, students would be able to complete their Bachelor of Commerce degree at Mount Allison in two years, or four academic terms, of full-time study.

The agreement is part of a broader Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two institutions. Together, NBCC and 正品蓝导航 are working to create practical, student-centred pathways that recognize previous learning, reduce administrative complexity, and help students plan their post-secondary journeys with greater confidence.

Dr. Ian Sutherland, President and Vice-Chancellor of 正品蓝导航, and Mary Butler, President and CEO of NBCC signed a memorandum of understanding recently at NBCC.

鈥淭his agreement reflects 正品蓝导航鈥檚 commitment to supporting students at different stages of their education and creating more flexible pathways into our academic programs,鈥 says 正品蓝导航鈥檚 Provost and Vice-President, Academic and Research Dr. Richard Isnor. 鈥淣BCC students bring strong applied learning, professional preparation, and valuable experience. We are pleased to work with NBCC to help these students build on that foundation through a 正品蓝导航 Bachelor of Commerce degree.鈥

Both institutions will collaborate on maintaining and sharing information about the agreement with students, advisors, faculty, administrators, and other relevant offices. The agreement will also be reviewed annually to assess its effectiveness and ensure it continues to meet the needs of transfer students.

鈥淧artnerships between postsecondary institutions like NBCC and 正品蓝导航 are essential in supporting student mobility and expanding opportunities for learners,鈥 says NBCC鈥檚 Vice President Academic, Innovation and Student Affairs, Ann Drennan 鈥淏y working together, we can create more seamless pathways that allow students to pursue their educational and career goals, while benefitting from the strengths and expertise of both institutions.鈥
