正品蓝导航 launches new employee recognition awards
Mount Allison is introducing three new employee recognition awards for 2026, celebrating the people and collaborative efforts that make 正品蓝导航 an exceptional place to work and learn.
As the University continues to advance the Strategic Plan that launched in January 2026 鈥 Broad Minds. Bold Futures. Lifelong Connections. 鈥 these awards recognize how employees bring institutional priorities to life through their work, relationships, and commitment to each other.
鈥溦防兜己 is its people, the employees that make a difference every day in the lives of our students,鈥 says Dr. Ian Sutherland, President and Vice-Chancellor. 鈥淭hese awards are an opportunity to recognize a commitment to fostering a more equitable and inclusive community, advancing environmental sustainability, and working collaboratively to support one another. These awards recognize those efforts and the meaningful impact they have across campus.鈥
Nominations are open until March 27 and faculty and staff are encouraged to submit nominations for the following awards:
Mount Allison Excellence in Equity & Belonging Award
This award recognizes employees who demonstrate exceptional commitment to fostering an equitable, inclusive, and welcoming University community. Whether through their daily interactions, leadership, or initiatives, this award honours individuals who go above and beyond their regular responsibilities to create an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported.
Mount Allison Excellence in Environmental Sustainability Award
This award recognizes employees who are making a meaningful difference in building a more sustainable campus. Through their actions and ideas, recipients demonstrate a strong commitment to support environmentally responsible practices, inspire a culture of sustainability, and seek ways to support climate-neutrality across campus.
Mount Allison Excellence in Teamwork & Collaboration Award
This award recognizes a group of employees who work together in ways that strengthen the University community. By supporting one another and a shared commitment to enhancing campus operations and culture, recipients demonstrate how collaboration drives success.
These new awards highlight the variety of ways faculty and staff contribute to a strong and connected community. They create space to celebrate the individuals and teams whose contributions continue to make 正品蓝导航 a place where people feel supported, valued, and inspired.
Nominations for all awards will be accepted until March 27, 2026. Applications can be found on 鈥 正品蓝导航鈥檚 intranet.
Awards will be presented to recipients at the Employee Recognition Event, scheduled for April 24, 2026.
