Spreading kindness across campus and throughout the community on World Kindness Day

Members of the University community are once again coming together to celebrate Community Kindness Day, which will be celebrated on World Kindness Day, Thursday, Nov. 13.

This year鈥檚 events focus on spreading kindness today 鈥 and every day 鈥 through philanthropy, reflection, and connection across campus and the broader community. Even small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference.

Inspired by World Kindness Day, which is celebrated globally each year on November 13, Community Kindness Day invites students, faculty, staff, and community members to take part in activities and small gestures that promote compassion, well-being, and belonging.

"Kindness is foundational to the MtA community and reminds us that connection, care, and compassion are at the heart of who we are and all we do,鈥 says President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ian Sutherland. 鈥淚鈥檓 proud to see students, faculty, and staff coming together again this year to celebrate what it means to be part of a community that looks out for one another. Kindness Day is an important reminder that small acts of care make a lasting difference 鈥 not just today, but every day.鈥

Whether it鈥檚 expressing gratitude, lending a hand, or taking time for self-care, every act of kindness helps make 正品蓝导航 and Tantramar a more connected and caring place.
